Tammy Belton-Davis and Athena Communications was proud to co-host “Backstage Pass: Milwaukee’s Leaders of Color” with the Milwaukee Rep. The evening was an exclusive behind-the-scenes event offering Milwaukee’s changemakers an early look inside the Rep’s transformative new home, the Associated Bank Theater Center.
Held inside the stunning new Herzfeld Foundation Education & Engagement Center, the evening marked the first community event in the space and celebrated the Rep’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, storytelling, and community connection. Guests were welcomed by Tammy, who also serves as a Milwaukee Rep Board Member, alongside Rep leadership.
The night featured unforgettable performances by Gavin Gregory, star of Come From Away, and Silver Anderson, 2025 Next Narrative Monologue Competition National Finals Winner, both of whom inspired the audience through artistry and authenticity. Guests also received an exclusive backstage tour of the Associated Bank Theater Center, experiencing firsthand how this space will serve as a hub for education, creativity, and community partnerships.
Athena Communications believes transformation happens when storytelling meets purpose, and this event was a powerful example of that in action. We’re honored to collaborate with Milwaukee Rep in celebrating a new chapter of cultural excellence and community engagement for our city.
